Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman Earns Two Key Labor Endorsements in Campaign for Governor

FRANKFORT, KY — Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman’s campaign for Governor of Kentucky recently announced two additional endorsements from leading organized labor organizations: International IUE-CWA and Teamsters Local 236, based in Paducah.

These endorsements reinforce Coleman’s momentum across the Commonwealth and underline her long-standing commitment to Kentucky’s working families and union labor. She has also secured the endorsements of Teamsters Local 89, Bricklayers 4, SMART 110 and Teamsters Local 651, solidifying her as the candidate backed by organized labor.

"As a former teacher and card-carrying union member, I know firsthand the power of collective bargaining and the dignity of hard work. The dual endorsements highlight Coleman’s track record in the Beshear-Coleman administration, which has prioritized good-paying jobs, economic growth, vocational training and protecting public pensions.

Throughout her tenure as lieutenant governor, Coleman has championed labor rights, defeated anti-public education ballot initiatives, and pushed for historic economic investments across urban and rural counties alike. As lieutenant governor, she has stood up for working families and walked the picket line in solidarity with people demanding better wages and working conditions.

Alongside Governor Andy Beshear, Coleman has helped Kentucky shatter every previous economic investment record in the state’s history. During their administration, they have announced more than $50 billion in private investment and the creation of 70,000 new jobs. And they have done so with organized labor having a seat at the table.
