FRANKFORT, KY — Just 10 weeks after officially launching her campaign for Governor of Kentucky, Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman—a former high school basketball coach and teacher—has captured a remarkable amount of momentum. Today, the Jacqueline for Kentucky campaign is releasing 10 stats from the first 10 weeks that establishes her as the clear frontrunner in 2027.

"Kentuckians want to keep building on the great progress made by the Beshear-Coleman administration,” said Coleman. “I'll continue that work and be a governor who shows up, listens, and delivers results."

The Scouting Report: 10 Weeks, 10 Stats

1. Fast-Break Momentum: In just 10 weeks since launching this campaign, Team Jacqueline has built a commanding statewide operation, a strong fundraising network, and an expanding Team Roster featured on social media including everyday families and a grassroots network spanning the Commonwealth. Kentuckians are energized and excited to support Jacqueline’s campaign.

2. Big-League Fundraising Power: Backed by this massive wave of support from everyday Kentuckians, the campaign reported over $309,000 in monetary and in-kind contributions raised in its first 10 weeks, building a strong financial foundation. The median contribution sits at a highly accessible $10 showing that working families are leading the charge.

3. Deep Bench: More than 1,400 unique donors have officially joined the team, fueling the campaign's early momentum, with contributions surging in June.

4. The Sixth Man: Last week, Jacqueline was endorsed by nationally known women’s healthcare advocate, Hadley Duvall. “Kentucky needs a leader who will never give up fighting for access to affordable healthcare, patient privacy and opportunities for every family to thrive,” said Duvall, whose personal story has shifted the conversation about access to healthcare in Kentucky. “I know Jacqueline Coleman will continue to be that leader.”

5. Analytics: Displaying the strength of her results as lieutenant governor working alongside Governor Andy Beshear, Jacqueline holds a commanding 30-point lead in a potential Democratic Primary poll.

6. Unbeatable Home-Court Advantage: Team Jacqueline has already secured financial support from 69 Kentucky counties, proving Jacqueline’s promise that she will show up for all Kentuckians and she will not cede any corner of the state to potential political rivals.

7. Expanding Team Roster: On June 1, coinciding with Kentucky’s 234th birthday, Coleman announced the “Jacqueline for Kentucky Team Roster,” which features endorsements from everyday Kentuckians across all 120 counties. The roster is not made up of political insiders or major donors. It highlights what Jacqueline says is Kentucky’s superpower: ordinary people doing extraordinary things. So far, the roster has included teachers, students, community volunteers, law enforcement officers, social workers and others.

8. Coast-to-Coast Fan Base: Before any money was spent on advertising, the campaign’s appeal extended far beyond the Commonwealth, drawing contributions from all 50 states to build a national network of support and reiterate the eyes of the nation will be upon Kentucky in 2027.

9. All-Star Endorsements: The campaign has locked down a dominant coalition of proven leaders, including former Lt. Gov. Crit Luallen and former Congressman John Yarmuth.

10. Defense Wins Championships: Working families win elections. Jacqueline is cementing herself as the choice of Kentucky’s working families, picking up critical endorsements from Teamsters Local 89, Sheet Metal Workers 110, and Bricklayers 4, with more on the way.

First 10-Week Breakdown: In summary, Jacqueline for Kentucky is off to a strong start in the first 10 weeks of her 2027 gubernatorial campaign. She is expanding her base, securing an impressive number of endorsements and raising early money that allows her to compete all across the commonwealth. Highlighting her core values of showing up, listening and getting results for Kentuckians, she continues to be best positioned to carry on the success of the Beshear-Coleman administration.
